Complementing the weaknesses of the generator set
The fuel of generator group has its own characteristics and cannot carry high power load in a short period of time. If the load exceeds the capacity of the ship, the operation of the generation group will become slow and, in severe cases, ship power outages may occur. However, the installation of the lithium battery system allows the battery pack to carry additional loads, thus preventing this dangerous accident.
Random variations
Under certain operating conditions, such as when loading and unloading cargo with a self-propelled starter, the load changes are evident during this operating time. It is not economical for multiple generators to operate simultaneously to meet maximum load requirements in a short period of time. After installing the lithium battery system, the lithium battery can meet the demand of maximum load for short-term power supply. Instead of enabling a generator with a low load, relies on the power grid to recharge. In this case, a single generator can be opened for cargo handling, which is not only cost-effective but also improves the efficiency of generator operation.
